Status of technical information

The technical content on this site - product parameters, material guidance, standards summaries and engineering articles - is published for general guidance. It is written carefully and reviewed, but it is not a substitute for:

• The current edition of the standards themselves
• Your project specification
• Engineering judgement applied to your specific system

Where anything on this site conflicts with the current edition of a referenced standard, the standard governs. Where anything conflicts with a written quotation, order acknowledgement or approved drawing issued by us, that document governs.

Parameters and ranges

Parameters are marked as standard range, typical range or project-dependent. Nothing on this site constitutes an offer or a commitment to supply to a particular parameter. Contractual parameters are those stated in a written quotation and order acknowledgement.

Standards summaries

Our standards pages summarise scope and applicability. They do not reproduce the content of the standards, which are copyright of their issuing bodies. You should work from the current edition obtained from the issuing body.

Drawings and diagrams

Sectional diagrams on this site are schematic. They show general construction and identify parts referred to in the material tables. They are not to scale, are not manufacturing drawings, and do not represent any specific supplied item. Dimensional information for a supplied valve is on the approved general arrangement drawing.

Intellectual property

The content, diagrams and page structure of this site are the property of the site operator. Standards names and numbers referenced are the property of their respective issuing bodies.

Corrections

If you find an error on this site, tell us. Corrections are made with a visible update date on the affected page rather than silently.
